PLEASE ADD TO THIS THREAD

Unread postby 5292nate » Tue Jan 22, 2013 11:48 am

Let's start a discussion here. I'm hoping to start this thread, to create a list of US locos and rolling stock (I and others) feel we need for our fine simulator. Maybe in the future, people looking to create something, can come to this thread, and select a project from the lists mentioned.

LOCOS

GE AC4400CW
GE AC6000CW
SD90MAC
SD80MAC
C40-9
SD50-2
ES44AC (with the steerable trucks)
ES44AC-H

I'll post my rolling stock suggestions at a later time. I'm immediately thinking these items can be an RCAP project. I would love to contribute, but I don't have the time at this current point.

isn't the C40-9 included in the Dash9 pack on steam? on the editor list the NS one shows up as a C40?

C40-9 is like a dash 8 almost but with dash 9 trucks.

50' mechanical Reefers
64' LPG Propolyene Tankers
ACF White Phosphorus Tankers
Trinity Tank Cars (Corn Syrup, Acid, Molton Sulpher, etc)
NSC 2400 cft Aggregate Hoppers (VULX & MWAX)
Ortner 3 bay and Trinity 4 bay Aggregate hoppers
NSC 35' & 42 ' Ballast Hoppers
Articulated Well car sets
Special purpose flat cars (Depressed center, Heavy Duty, etc)

Quite possibly in the future I may have a SD70 Spartan (thats IC,NS,CR).

These engines come to mind:
C30-7
B30-7

Let's also ask for some PRR Steam:

Class H10 2-8-0
Class L1 2-8-2
Class I1sa 2-10-0
Class M1 4-8-2

Oh, and just about any ALCO - Pennsy had them all.

I will second all on Duncan's list, plus possibly a C&O H8 for Tori's wonderful Alleghany route plus some BIG (non articulated) UP steam for Sherman Hill.

As for the diseasels, sorry but I wouldn't waste the pixels in voting for any of them...

Steam Rules...

!*cheers*!

What I want for locos are as follows:

C40-8M (CN and BC Rail has them)
C630 and C630M
U-2-g Northern

and for freightcars:

4000cf Canadian Coal gondolas, they are and were used by the following- CN, CP, BCOL, CSX, AMGX, GACX, SULX, UNPX, HZCX, ECXX, HPJX, and UP
4 bay cylindrical hopper (for dry chemicals and fertilizers....they have round hatches on top instead of the troughs like on the ones we have currently for RW)
50Ft RD-4 coal hoppers
