I think it must be a random thing as I played it twice and never saw any lightning.

I'll have to run it again. I saw lightning the first time through for sure.

Every time I have played this scenario, I never have seen any lightning and have only heard thunder once or twice. It's quite upsetting for a person who is actively interested in meteorology that they don't get weather right. One of my issues with RSC is that they label the weather incorrectly. Example: Cloudy is the label, actually it's partly cloudy. That's the difference between 40%-60% cloud cover and 90-100%, It's not negligible by my standards. Then again, we can't expect them to be experts in this area. **!!2cents!!**

that be so awsome if they add that thunderstorm on quick drive. so you could play donner pass with thunderstorm feature. i donno why they didn't add it as default feature.

Well, they should be experts in this field, in Britain we can have all 4 seasons in one day, if they don't know the difference between cloudy, partly cloudy, wispy and stormy, then it's a sad state of affairs, we Brits pride ourselves as being amateur Meterolologists, we talk about the weather hourly. !*roll-laugh*!

Same here in Quebec, Canada.
My girlfriend comes from Indonesia and she was surprised that everyone here is always talking about the weather.
It is not a topic in Indonesia, apart from the few times when storms throw houses around.
I haven't told her yet about the many words we have describing types of snow.

Funny enough I was thinking the same thing about drizzle earlier on. I reckon I could run off a list of about 15 without trying too hard. *!!wink!!*

Lightning and thunder starts about 3 miles before Wycon and does not last long gang. Could use a little more sizzle for sure.
