Is there way to modify the IHH Challenger and Consolidation whistles, so that instead of one long, long blast, we could have more prototypical short and long blasts as needed?

Ummmm, I thought Consolidation was "mrennies" baby, and it's not out yet even? Look in the WIP section.

Paul (IHH) passed the Challenger and Big Boy over to RSC's care. Browse around a while, there are several whistle and performance enhancement packs here in the library. IHH has no affiliation to Big Boy or Challenger any more. Paul (Sly) went almost 100% Brit. I still love and have all his steam locomotives.

I think he's talking about the original consolidation Chris.

Yes, the original. The whistle is one long, long, long blast - inappropriate for signaling and crossings. One is needed with more flexibility.

I have tried modding myself with other whistles, and the mods worked ok prior to 2013. Now they don't and I have been unable to determine why.
