Got it when I booted up this afternoon. Anybody have any idea what it's for?

I recall reading on UKTS that the update covered some UK stock. I see nothing for the tools update, however.
Cheers!

Well for one thing none of my new textures can be opened by RSBinTool. I wish they would have given me an option not to use the new texture format.

It's not a new format - RSC simply used a higher compression when exporting from Photoshop to ACE, which has been part of the PSD plugin since day-one. Since RSC hadn't done so before, no one bothered to check to read those files, so none of the 3rd-party editors can properly open them.

Are you talking about the ACE plugin for PhotoShop or ConvertToTG.exe?

I have been using the ACE plugin for over a year now and never had a problem opening textures in RSBinTool. It was only have a recent update that I started to see this problem. I thought it was because it forced DXT5 on us.
