Hello All from Colorado

Unread postby kd0bik » Thu Oct 25, 2012 3:47 pm

Hi all,

I thought I would introduce myself. I've been lurking for a few weeks and playing around with Train Simulator 2012 and now 2013.

I'm not new to the world of simulation. I've been flying aircraft on a computer since the Commodore 64 days and did own the Microsoft version of Train Simulator. In clearing out some junk the other day I found my old MS TS install disks and thought I would check to see what the new version was like. That led me to TS 2012 which I purchased and used for about two months before TS2013 arrived. So far I really enjoy it.

I enjoy the passenger routes in the UK and the freight routes here in the US. I once had a relatively large O layout and while I hated to take it down and sell everything, TS2013 allows me to still have fun driving trains and do so in a much smaller space.

Since I'm relatively new (again) to the world of Train Simulator. I"m curious if there has ever been any discussion on creating any portion of the Eurostar route (perhaps London to Paris)???

Anyway...just wanted to say hello.

Thank you Bob.

And just to add. I suppose with the ability to create your own routes in TS2013, the possibilities are endless much like building a basement layout. Now just to figure that out. **!!bang!!**

Yep you can create your own route. I spent 19 months making the NERW PA Division route available here in the file library.
