Some Thoughts

on my recently submitted Big Boy Sherman Scenario.

This is my first scenario submitted to the File Library and and the last
of the three that I have developed over the past 9 months.

I originally created this scenario for my own use using motive power and
rolling stock available from ny assets in my Sim. I wanted to recreate
the transition period from Steam to Diesel of the late 1940s thru mid
1950s using locomotives and rolling stock appropriate for this period. I
believe this has been accomplished with a few exceptions. I used
the original route via Red Butte, Hermosa, and Buford with the 1.5%
grades and passage over Sherman.

A person on another forum inquired if any Big Boy Sherman Hill scenarios were
available or being contemplated. I mentioned I had one, however it
contained a large amount of Payware and Freeware. He stated that he had
no problem with this and then asked if I would document it and make it
available which I did with lots of reservations.

I have since come to realize that Michael Stephan's Golden Age of Rails
site is temporally not available. Unfortunately this is where most of my
assets were acquired. The Jesse James re-paints/re-skins available at
http://s1.zetaboards.com/DigiRails_Forums depend on the Golden Age DLC.
My sincere apologies for the this inconvenience.

I hope that those of you who have downloaded and have got this scenario
to work get as much enjoyment and satisfaction as I have.
