Weird Weather in TS2013?

Unread postby roinuj » Sat Oct 06, 2012 7:25 pm

Has anyone noticed some strange weather in TS2013? I've seen snow on the Cajon Pass and the Connellsville to Baltimore routes in Summer scenarios with clear skys. !*don-know!*

Sample:

Is there a dynamic weather generation that I don't know about? Just curious.

Lemme go look..

Edit: Tried a bunch of different weather settings all clear. I could not reproduce your screenshot.

I noticed on the Cajon route on the same summer scenario I would get light showers one time, heavy showers another and snow another. The weather in the screenshot on the Connellsville to Baltimore route is the RailsimulatorUS Partly Cloudy. I've since edited the weather on the scenario on Cajon but I recall it was the RailsimulatorUS Overcast Showers. Thing that has me baffled is the apparent change in precipitation. It never happened in TS2102. I wonder if it was an undocumented feature in TS2013?? Pretty cool if it was...provide it doesn't always snow in the summer. *!rolleyes!*

I bet you have been the scenario editor. Go back into the scenario editor and in the scenario properties go and select the proper weather. I do this alot.
