Your Silent Opinion of Train Simulator 2013

Unread postby PapaXpress » Tue Sep 18, 2012 2:20 pm

Based on a conversation here:
viewtopic.php?p=68911#p68911

I am starting this thread so we can silently voice our likes and/or dislikes of Train Simulator 2013. We all will have an opinion, and sometimes we can get pretty passionate about the changes made to our favorite routes and models we worked on, so lets try something new. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then post an unaltered screen shot of TS2013 here to voice your opinion.

It can be a before and after. Tracks doing the floating carpet trick. Broad landscapes which snapped your attention from the throttle. No words. No captions. Let it speak for itself.

I will unlock this thread when it releases.

Hi

I think that last one is quite useful to determine how intensive a particular area will be to render. I've only tried it so far in a route with no scenery, but when I fly over one of my yards the numbers shoot up whereas when I'm over empty countryside they're really low.

So it probably means something to somebody somewhere.

Cheers

Bob
"Life is like a journey, taken on a train
With a pair of travelers at each windowpane.
I may sit beside you all the journey through,
Or I may sit elsewhere, never knowing you.
But if fate should mark me to sit by your side,
Let's be pleasant travellers; it's so short a ride."
