junction switch question

I think i'm losing it guys.. Imust have tried the same thing a hundred times since Rs 2012 was released, but, i never learn.. I've tried creating junctions and they look great. all the rails are in the right place, but theres no switch.. no matter what i do or how i do it, theres no switch.. Did they hide them someplace?? What am i possibly doing wrong??

The track rule and the type of track used for the junction must match, else you get a non-starter.
