What did the I (we) gain???

Like the title says, what did we gain with the now infamous Dash 9 disaster? Mine is back and running at least.

I guess that the gain is RSC listened to its paying customers, and made the fix. It took less time than I expected for which I am thankful. Be that as it may, there should have never been a need for a fix in the first place.

Trying to look at it from both sides, I can understand that RSC needs to sale DLC to keep the lights on, so like every corporation now days, everyone has impossible deadlines to meet and things are rushed out the door. Things like this even happen with companies 5 times the size of RSC, just look at how many blunders Microsoft has had over the years. In my personal opinion, RSC has done an excellent job correcting this problem !!*ok*!!. They listened to the customer base, even ask for input from people having problems and was able to correct the issue in a timely manner. The only thing I wish they would have done is sent an email stating the new update has been sent to Steam. But that is water over the dam now, as my system has been updated and all Dash 9's are working as they should be, after re-adding my personal tweaks :D !*roll-laugh*! What did we gain, the knowledge that RSC does care about there customer base, if they did not, we would still be waiting for a fix for this problem. My **!!2cents!!**

They sent me one.

Mr Artim

The fix has been sent to steam, and should be published soon. Please keep your eye on it and let us know when you receive it.

Bob, Did you send an email to support indicating you were having problems with the Dash 9?

What is anyone gaining from yet another thread about the Dash9 update? !*don-know!* Are folks really this bored? Surely someone should be getting riled up about the announcements of upcoming updates to several more standard routes. Am I the only forum member looking at RSC's blog (bog?) site?

Rich yes we worked all week on it, about 7 emails back and forth.

Tom, yes I read the blog everyday. Always looking to see what is coming. In here I was just answering questions to those who wanted to know.
