I installed Krellnuts wagon sound pack last night and all I can say is WOW! What a fantastic asset. I can't begin to imagine the amount of work that went into making this excellent add-on. Awesome job! *!!thnx!!*

Thank you for the kind words. If you own any of the SD70 packs, why not try out the SD70 10-Engine Sound And Total Lighting Pack uploaded here a few days ago. Also, I'm doing an extensive rebuild on my wagon sound pack which I think is far more realistic than the version out now. I hope to have done very soon.

Mr. Krell,
I'm looking forward to your new wagon sounds. I wouldn't even play TS without the current ones. Are you planning on adding coupler slack noises also?

Can you do that? I could probably script something, but that's a bit of a sledgehammer approach...

If I'm correct, the RWSO Chinese rollingstock has coupler slack noises when you move off.

Actually of course you can do it, half the UK stuff does it when in reality the couplers have screwed the buffers into compression even when the couplers are under tension...

Saw this thread and had to pay my respects. Awesome sound pack....especially at the recommended sound level that's suggested in the READ ME file. Will be hard to top.... wagons wise.

Also there is a SD40 sound pack that's just as awesome. I like the sounds of the turbo 645s and early 710s better then I do later model 710s. The later 710s have this kinda Caterpillar engine growl to their turbos at lower RPMs now. Plus... later 710s have this sorta muffled vacuum cleaner note to their classic 2-stroke low frequency resonating note now. That's the best way in words I can describe it cuz it really is hard to describe. I still love the sound of them, it's just they don't sound quite as good as the older 710s and turbo 645s.

The sounds of a 2-stroke EMD engine with turbo is just pure joy. I don't hate the 4-stroke sounds of GEs. It's just their hard chugging, unbalanced washing machine sound doesn't even come close to the joy of EMD's 2-strokes for me.

EMD for life baby! **!!bow!!**
EMD 2-strokes rule! My all time favorite: SD45X also love the SD40-2/SD40T-2/SD45-2/SD45T-2/DD35A/DDA40X/SD70ACe/SD80ACe

Good times.....
I do have the EMD 16645E3 V1 Engine installed for the SD40-2. Combine that with a Nathan M3 Horn, and you can have a good time. !*brav*!
