hey if someone could make a mod for railworks 3 where before crossing a rrcrossing the ai trains would blow there horn

Yep, Chacal is right !*roll-laugh*! Brian just fixed (anglicised) the OP statement.

About the question itself, there is no way of automatic blasting horns (as happen in Trainz series) because the scenario editor of RW3 is too much poor of resources and features, for example there is no trigger (using track markers) for sounds. In the other trainsim, beyond the sounds triggers, the markers have more and different triggers: approaching mark, stopped on mark, passing over mark and leaving mark. Maybe with the brand new announcement from RSC about new features of TS2012, coming soon, will have (finally) a good scenario editor (isn't yet, so far).

ya only reason i ask cause i want the ai's to do the same a real train would if rsc could do that great

We need two things to do that:
1- A way to tell the AI train that it is approaching a crossing (i.e. a "road crossing" marker)
2- A "sound horn" command.

RW3 has neither of these.

Sounding the horn is easy, what you can't do is send AI trains custom signal messages.
