Well I am back

Unread postby mapitts » Sun Jun 03, 2012 7:57 am

After almost a year, I am back. My old computer was at a point where I was struggling to even attempt this game. New computer now and so far so good. Runs like a champ and I can actually enjoy this simulatin as opposed to ondering what is going to happen next. I forgot how much fun it was. I am a lurker moore than a poster. Now I am going to have to be a poster because I want to try and use this to do what it was desined to do. Simulate real railroading.

Well, hey! *&!welcome!&* Nice to see you around again! Lots and lots of new stuff in the library, and a few new payware routes, like Fraiser and Cariboo, that are really really good!

Hi Pam, Just curious are you working in full screen mode or window mode? It seems like when I work in the World Editor in full screen mode (1920 x 1060), my editing session always ends with a SBHH, but when I work in the World Editor in window mode (1600 x 900) my editing sessions never end with a SBHH. I don't know if it's just coincidence, my computer or a little of both. Something to try?

Hi Mapitts, Welcome back and as the others have mentioned, there have been some very nice routes released over the last year. Two that I've found very nicely done are the Horseshoe Curve route by RSC and the Fraiser and Cariboo by Milepost Simulations :D

Regards,
Rich S.
Cheers,

Hi Rich..
I'm in windowed mode, but i'm probably just managing it stupidly and need to save more often. With steep grades, high overpasses and rally high mountains, i push rw's limits all the time.
