I understand there are a lot of different interests in model and virtual railroading, so someone into switching may not find a 140 mile route to be their cup of tea, but i enjoy long runs with impossible passes and too, i love the siera's. can anyone point me towards an objective review?? Are the problems being addressed in the update the main problems bugging most people?? or is it really as bad as some of the folk on here say it is??
Thanks..

Hi Pam,
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here you go, Nick's review of the route.

Hi Rich..
Thanks for the Link.. The video seems to be busted for me about a third of the way through, but i followed the links to the railyard site.. I guess its getting mostly average ratings, which for me is fine.. Theres not one person in here that cant do a better job at making scenery than i can, so my hat's off to anyone with enough gumption to tackle that particular strip of rail. From what i did see though, they got a lot of the upper sierra stuff right. Cant blame em if theres too little snow because of game limitations, but theres a reason they have those two gigantic snow blowers up there to keep the tracks clear. And for me?? Well, i like to watch the scenery and listen to the engines. Its relaxing, and i know that by the time the train crashes at either end, i'll have been sleeping like a baby for some time before then.. :)..
