I had problems with Xfire where my anti-virus was flagging trojans coming from their spinner. Not sure if they clean that all up, but I simply can't take that chance.

Well im quoting this off a site just in case you all do not believe me:
Basically, Xfire is safe to use with 95% of programs. Everyone once in a great while, some new game will have trouble with it and will make things difficult. However, xfire usually has that taken care of through a small update rather quickly. Just to give an example of how safe it is, it's actually been built in to some of the very latest games, to provide a chat / e-message system for the games' multiplayer. They will never ask you for any game's account information, and in fact they advise you not to give that information out.

Railworks works great with it

The app hooking into the game was not the problem. The problem was that the had a spinner for their banners which kept on trying to install a Trojan.

I was actually looking for a way to delete my profile. Unfortunately they don't support that.

Xfire? It is still around?
I remember some games that required Xfire somehow and that was 6 years or something ago.

And you can also listen to music while playing without Xfire. *!!wink!!*

The "blessings" of our new digital online world: You cannot delete anything. Your traces will endure forever. Scary!
