I don't think that team that built the DP are going to be allowed near another route again. *!lol!*

Let us have a look on RSC's facebookpage.
RSC "likes" amongst others the following sites:

- New York Tranist Museum
- MTA New York City Transit
- MTA Metro North Railroad

- Metro Forward (a site of the Washington D.C. Metro)

- MARTA (Atlanta, GA)

- St. Louis Metro Transit

- DART (Dallas, TX)
- Capital Metro (Austin, TX)

- RTD (Denver, CO)

- New Mexico Rail Runner (Albuquerque, NM)

- UTA (Salt Lake City, UT)

- Valley Metro RPTA (Phoenix, AZ)
- Grand Canyon Railway (Williams, AZ)

- Amtrak California
- BART (San Francisco, CA)
- Metrolink (LA, CA)

-Amtrak Cascades

Most of these sites are surely for distraction, but the focus is very much on commuter railroads.
What I think is very likely we could get soon: Metro North, a California commuter route or Amtrak Cascades.

Speculations over speculations... :D

I want them to stay way from the Bay Area. After DP I have no faith in their west coast route skills.

Aw we don't need another long, boring, nothing to do route (NEC & DP are enough) .. Give us a fairly lengthy freight route with lots of industry so we've got something to do and can put some thought into it...

Commuter routes eh? Haven't seen that yet from RSC (A US one, I mean. And I consider NEC a passenger route, not a commuter route). A TRE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity_Railway_Express) route would be nice, their network is fairly extensive and they use a nice selection of stock. Not to mention, their terminus in Ft Worth is a nice, historic T&P station. *Waits for hopes to be crushed as RSC release NEC II*

This subject could go on forever. They've done two west coast routes (Donner, Cajon), two in the east (Horseshoe, NEC), and one in the middle (Castle Rock). Since they/re not keen on duplicating efforts (ie: they'll not likely copy a route already in the freeware sector), that still leaves a few hundred possibilities in North America, with a dozen or so in the desirable category. There's still a few locomotives and rollingstock needed, so their current projects could be of anything! !**duh*!!

The MTA New York City Transit Facebook page covers everything MTA. Bus, Metro North, Subway, LIRR. Could be any one of them... Minus the buses of course.

Still think the LIRR would be a great commuter route for Railworks. Think Portsmouth Direct, but many times busier and bigger.

If they are going to do a new U.S. route, then let it be in the midwest. Say Kansas City to Lincoln or Omaha. Huge yards and lots of single track excitement. Since they are so in love with the BNSF, then how about St. Louis to Springfield.

I vote for more fallen flag routes. How about a Rock Island route with first generation diesels? or a Chicago Great Western route? Or maybe a ICG route featuring the ICG ALCO C630's and Paducah rebuilt Geeps? Another good one would be one of the Milwaukee Roads electrified Rocky Mountain Divisions with the Little Joe's and the Boxcabs?
