This look like an interesting route but I'm not really interested in steam locos. Can anyone tell me how many of the 11 scenarios are diesel?

Thanks,
Tom

All of the original Portland Terminal Scenarios are diesel.

I have no issues at all with the fps. but that is my experience it all depends on your machine and mine barely meets game minimum requirements.

Just out of curiosity, how big is the download for the route from Steam?

Hmm, unsure what the Steam download size is, but, what I can tell ya is that after installation, the G-TraX folder is 650mb and the route is approx. 58mb.
I deleted some of the sound domes on the route and it runs as sweet as a nut now on my computer, no stutters whatsoever, and I would thoroughly recommend this layout to anyone, PLUS the diesel locomotives, freightcars and passenger coach you also get with it, I wouldn't hesitate to obtain anything that Rick Grout has created for our game, it's all good stuff. !!*ok*!!

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Runs fine for me. Good route. Definately some effort to create a sense of emersion beyond any other payware routes.

Huh? Never had any problems with Portland Terminal. Not like WCML or NEC. Rick Groute's stuff is always top notch! Just look at Durango to Silverton. !!*ok*!!

After they ungraded it to ts 2012 standards I was afraid it would be an fps killer but to my pleasant surprise it did not affect the fps at all

Well... much to my dismay PT appears to be very popular across the pond as well.

As to the sound dome problem, I don't seem to have a problem. I have an Asus Xonar sound card, so perhaps its doing a lot of the heavy lifting?

I have no problems with PT and it is one of my favorite routes.
