Just a reminder, Saturday, April 14, 2012 - is Railwatch 2012 at the platform in Folkston, GA - this is on US17 northwest of Jacksonville, FL
Jointed rail will be there, hoping to see them and alot of old friends there, - and will be cool to sit trackside and work on my route watching the possibility of 80+ trains in a 24 hour period
plus the pig roast

if you have no clue what folkston is
this is from CBS this morning 2006
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaPQZ706_4k

and Jointedrail fixed the camera, http://virtualrailfan.com/ - also there is a live audio feed you can listen to, also ATCSmon is heavily documented and works well
the lights for the cam are not installed yet so is very dark at night.

Hope to see some of you there, one year we got to see the CSX exec train going to augusta national for the masters

Can you try to talk some sense into them and persuade them to create some more Railworks content while you're there?

Hope y'all have a good time there, unfortunately it's also UTA (drill) weekend for the GA ANG, so if I see any trains in Folkston, it will be from 31,000ft. Not exactly the best viewing angle.
