New Head of Third Party Relations appointed by RSC

Unread postby RS_Simon » Tue Mar 13, 2012 10:19 am

Hi everybody. I hope you don't mind me posting this notice on behalf of RailSimulator.com. If there is any problem, Mods please move or edit as necessary. Many thanks, Simon

RailSimulator.com is delighted to announce that Matt Peddlesden, who has been the webmaster at UKTrainSim for over 10 years, is to join the RailSimulator.com team as Head of Third-Party Relations. Matt’s role will focus on engaging with external developers of all sizes to identify and bring to market exciting and innovative RailSimulator.com content.

Matt is very well known amongst the train simulation community, having developed UK TrainSim as a centre for community interaction and a respected resource for downloadable content. As well as providing a platform for community discussion and content sharing, Matt has been highly visible to the community as part of the driving force behind the UK TrainSim demonstration stand at numerous shows and events over recent years, and has helped introduce many newcomers to the ever expanding world of train simulation.

Matt said, ‘RSC have been raising their game since day 1, and I intend to be part of that on-going drive for more realism, more accuracy and more user enjoyment’. Paul Jackson, CEO of RailSimulator.com, added, ‘Matt’s experience in the train simulation field is second-to-none, and we are very pleased to have him on board. This will be a real step forward for us, and for the community who continue to demand more advanced and realistic content’.

Matt will begin his new role at RailSimulator.com on 23rd April, and will at the same time be stepping down as the webmaster for UKTrainSim. He will however remain a very active member of the train simulation community as the key contact for all developers wishing to create and publish train simulation content via the global Steam platform.

Congrats to Matt Peddlesden.

Does this mean that RSC and P.I. Engineering will get Raildriver to work with RSC's Locos?
