Steam enhancement pack

Unread postby bigphill » Wed Feb 29, 2012 2:48 am

Hi all
Does anyone know how to cntact "Doc' that shared his steam lighting pack with us. I know its rude to ask but i'm keen to see if he would consider having a go at the Big boy and Challenger loco's. His work certainly added some class to the Black 5 and 7. Hopefully he may read this post as his email doesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance

Doc on here, over!

I recently changed my e-mail, but it looks like working fine... !*don-know!*

I'm working hard on LEP update and becoming a bit crazy once the new core update has messed the headlights causing some weird effects. I've already e-mailed to RSC support and waiting a fix.

About the steams, in the LEP update is already included all the default (built-in) UK Steam locos (the same of my freeware Christmas pack) in five liveries plus two liveries of Black 5 and 7F from RSC DLC payware add-on packs. It will have two versions: with a quite soft projecting headlights (not realistic) and without projecting beams (prototypical).

It's almost finished the enhancement of Falmouth Branch steams and also some 8Fs, for LEP. Is ready the K4 enhancements (LEP also), and I have been played (not tweaked for publishing though) on Big Boy and Class 6000 King, but so far I don't own Challenger (yet).

But... I promisse (not sure when though) an enhanced freeware version of Big Boy, at least. *!!wink!!* !!*ok*!!

Cheers,
Doc Lisboa, out!

Can you update the big boy pack so you're sitting in the drivers seat instead of the seat behind it.

Hi Peter,

If I got it right, of course is possible (I can't recall what I did on Big Boy) but when I'm tweaking a cab view I'm always and exclusively focused in get the best view, i.e.: the most of track ahead, gauges and levers at same time (on fireman view, the firebox) all of this combined with Instructions' Screen and zoom feature. So it doesn't matter if driver's eyes of cabview matches (or not) with the driver seat, and also if it matches with the eyes of the scenery driver object (the animated driver you see on loco). The goal is get the best functional view (also to let you drive mouseless) and not to match with a supposedely correct position of driver (on seat or stand up).

Cheers,
Lisboa.
