You make a video about it! *!greengrin!*
Griphos found a wonderful funny video on Youtube and posted it on UKTrainsim, but I didn't saw it posted here. So I do it.

What's the video about? A total newby plays TS2012 for the first time... so funny! !*roll-laugh*!

!!*ok*!!
If God had intended for man to fly, He wouldn't have given us the railroads.

I should really stop watching these while at work. I was tearing up and people thought I was in pain.

Well I must be losing my sense of humor in my old age because I thought it was the stupidest thing I ever watched. Not even slightly funny. Then again not much has impressed since Nam.

The combination of cluelessness and the British accent made me think of Wheatley from Portal 2.

Can't really tell if he is joking or not, didn't really find it that funny. Anybody who contributes to this game knows how much effort it takes, so when someone does something like this,I take it like he's slamming the game. Actually at this point I've burnt myself out. Working on the SD70, ES44, and updating my wagons pack has done it. Making one engine sound set is a ton of work, but 8 for each loco is nuts. The effect is awesome with different sounds, but just to get it there. Where I sit right now is; I have 8 SD70 engines running, but not fully finished. For the ES engine sets, I have three working but not yet complete. But the wagons sound pack is almost done, and let me tell you it is a massive improvement. Much more realistic. It will require a complete new install of the pack, almost all new sounds. Hopefully I can have something out soon.

I can't wait. I'm going for any sound pack you publish.
Even today I won't play the game without your wagon sounds.

I don't think he's slamming the game, he apparently likes it very much. When I watched this I remebered my first hours with the game and I can't say that I performed very much better back then.
Many of us have started this way and I think it's good to rember that. Many have evolved from such driving, making higher demands in simulation and recreatin of actual railroading.
But don't forget: Whatever we do to make it more realistic: it stays a sim (or game).
There is our side, more interested into simulation, and there is another, more interested in fun and simply driving a train. Both have nicely coexisted together and I hope they can also in the future.

Your effort is very much appreciated. !!*ok*!!

I really don't think he was bashing the game. There were a couple times he said he should have read the manual. Was it staged? Perhaps. It was clear he was trying to be humorous about it. :D
