Back at'cha, Boss!

Against my better judgment, I let RSC's 50% off sale persuade me to buy the GG1 and Northeast Corridor DLCs. This, despite my general dislike for passenger scenarios (meaning that I'm lousy at earning green check-marks in them). So far, I've tried two of the GG1 scenarios and, yep, received 2 red checks for my efforts, but I still feel that I've gotten the last laugh: the last message of the second scenario read, "Well you completed the journey, but improvementsd could be made..." It's amazing how comforting a spelling error can be!

I downloaded RSC's GG1 last week but have been unable to find it on my Horseshoe Curve Route or anywhere on my 2012. I am a geezer and probably did somthing wrong. Should I order it again or notify steam? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The GG1 appears in 4 scenarios for the NEC route.
Start Railworks, select "Drive by route", select the NEC route, then look for the 4 scenarios below.

From the description in the Steam store:

Includes:
GG1 electric locomotive in PRR livery
P70 passenger coaches

Scenarios:
4 scenarios:
PLEASE NOTE: The GG1 requires the Northeast Corridor Expansion Pack (available separately) in order to play these scenarios.

Electric Revolution: Drive the flagship Congressional Limited Express service from New York to Washington DC, handing over the controls at Philadelphia.

High Voltage: Drive the double headed ‘Pennsylvanian’ express service from Philadelphia to New York Penn.
Run This Town: Today you will be running a main line service with one of the last few GG1s in service on the NEC between 30th Street and New York.

Last Night on Broadway: you will be in charge the last New Jersey Transit service from New York, altered slightly to end at Trenton instead of South Amboy.

Sure would be nice if those passenger cars had a passenger view!

Watch a movie on your cell phone. That's what most train passengers do nowadays!
*!lol!*

Oh and maybe add a crying baby or two in the room.

Ha! Good comments, but I don't even own a cell phone capable of showing movies. When I ride on a train (mostly in Italy, due to America's abandonment of its passenger rail network, I watch the scenery (including, at times, my fellow passengers). And stuff pacifiers into those crying babies mouths, please!

Chacal

Many thanks for your very descriptive response to my GG1 querey. I guess I didn't have my head on straight not realizing I was hanging around the PRR Horseshoe Route looking for the GG1 instead of going to the NEC Route. Actually, I grew up with the NEC practically in my back yard, in the Trenton to Bristol area. This was my main reason for updating to 2012. Oh well, I know I'll being enjoying the hours ahead and appreciate RSC now more than ever now. Thank You.

Given the attitudes of todays' mothers, I wouldn't dare saying that straight to a mother with a crying baby unless I had at least a couple of bodyguards, and a proper life insurance.... :/
