One of the things I used to love in MSTS was running at night, especially relatively long runs where I could work on keeping to schedule while playing some music, petting the cat, and so on. Some of the routes in MSTS took on a whole new look at night, so good (or lucky :) had their designers been in setting things up.
So imagine my surprise when I went to try a night activity on TS2012 and found that apparently headlights give no light whatsoever.
Now admittedly I am using a low-end computer (2.7ghz dual-core Athlon with 4GB RAM and a 128MB nVidia card--that last will be replaced at Christmas with a 512MB card unless I can convince them to get me a 1GB one :) but is that really what's going on?
Running the train in utter darkness is....well, pointless.
Have I missed something? Or is this just a matter of my system not having the oomph to do the graphics?
Thanks!
