Ts 2010

Unread postby SithMurcielago » Thu Dec 01, 2011 6:45 pm

I have been watching video, screenshots and reading some great articles on the new lighting system. While I wait for some more funding for a powerful new computer. I have a few questions

1. I notice that the point lights on most of the default LoCos point downward and not really straight ahead. Is there a fix in the works from rsc that will fix this on the default US locomotives and dlc? Or is there is third party planning this?

2. Daytime/nightime effect. Is there is a way to set the effect headlights or any lights for that matter have when they project on objects in sunlight. This is generally little to none . Also can this new upgrade distinguish the difference between dark tunnels and the outside? In Rw2 I know it was the same.

Thanks for the answers in advance. I just don't want to set to high of expectations that will only lead to disapointment.

Enhanced headlights pack (including correction of angles, too much downwards or unduly paralell to the ground) are in final beta test phase and about to be issued by Trains and Dirvers next week. More information here:
