Just an unfortunate learning curb...

I just played the scenairio on Horseshoe Curve involving the "Champion" train over the mainline for over an hour I think...was doing good, a few overspeeds here and there, wasnt able to get completely up to the speedlimit for most of the trip to Altoona, but decent. I just clear the first tunnel and suddenly my train derailed. I dont know how or why, but suddenly my screen went crazy and my freight cars were being strune all over the place! !*brav*! What I learned though, is to periodically SAVE the game as I go, so if something like this happens, I dont have to start from the beginning...another monotonous hour driving the same section of track...not very exciting *!rolleyes!* If some of you reading this want to know my point, as if most of you would prolly say "well yea!" !DUH! Save your progress. Lesson learned!! !!*ok*!!

I had they same problem with the People Power senario. Just after coming through Portage tunnel I derailed due to collision with an AI train but there was nothing infront of me!!!!

I made the TS2012 team aware and they are working on it.

I had the same problem with the scenario, I was rapidly going over the limit and was using both dynamic and train brakes when it derailed. Re ran using a saved scenario and got thu without any problem. Braked ahead of time and was at track limt the second time.

Sigh. I had that scenario fail simply because of an AI train derailment. I just got one myself - AI train 9775A, which starts out the scenario between MP 249/250.

Edit: The AI 9775A simply plows into the rear of AI 9660A (which was stationary) at about milepost 260.

I got the same problem twice, I can't get through the scenario, AI derailment right after I go through MG Tower. They need to fix this.

Yes, did that once & decided it was the dyna brakes, given I had wheelslip as soon as they came on. Reran it & used the train brakes, and all was fine.
