New trainman on the line, Allen W. Jeffries, My user name TYERIVERAL42,
I From Richmond Va now in Pensacola, Florida
Retired......USMC /USN (1980)
DoD GS-11 1995
Do D contracter (Lokeheed-Martin)2003
Thomas and freinds are my friends as well as: ACL, SAL , RF&P,SOU, C&O and many other fallen flags.
The 4-4-2 (all) is my loco follwed in order by: 4-4-4 CP Jubile, Fright Pacifics ,and last but never leastTHE MOGUL any mogul will do .
First generation deisels are tollerated the last one I can reconize is maybe GP 30.
Japan was never,never land ...steam,diesel & elec .

Richmond, VA.... once one of the dispatch centers for the C&O and Chessie System before it moved to Florida... like you. lol *&!welcome!&*

My nieghbor was 3 yrs older than me . His first job after high school was C & O . Got pormoted had to move to Chicago..
There is a lenthy tressel along the James river the coal trains would stretch the entire lenght. I have spent time in the Fulton yard...but it has been many years.
