Here are my settings for Fraps that work well for any game.
- Aspect Ratio: 1280x720 (Don't run full screen, gives you 720p HD).
- Frames: 29.97 fps.
- Lock Framerate.
- Record Sound (Don't if you intend to add music).
Also lower some of your settings to make things run smoothly if your PC (like mine) struggles a little.
