Ever hear of the super dash-9 for msts? Well, I'm going to edit the engine script of the bnsf dash-9 to make it go real fast like :3. I'll also make an es44ac version :|, I just need some 1 to tell me how to make a bin file from all that weird stuff into something I can really EDIT...

You can either use RWTools (highly recommended) or you can drag and drop the BIN file over serz.exe in the root railworks folder.

Almost got it working, I tried to add a driver and the game freezes. Added a new folder in assests/RSC/railvehicles/desil/dash-9 called super dash-9 , that how I got it half working. Just need to package it.
EDIT: uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the file's too big, maby I can upload it to the site or put the rwp in another rwp?

Once you compress the files down, you won't get too much more savings if you try to compress it more.

Is the file too big or are you trying to upload an rwp file?
You can't upload an rwp file here. You first have to package that file up using WinZip, WinRAR, or 7zip. See this thread for uploading details.

viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1358

If the file is still over 200 MB, I'd guess that you've done something wrong in the packaging of the rwp. I can't see where a single engine package should be over 200 MB.

It's a rar and I currently hold the record for fastest desil loco, 180mph :D Btw, the rar is olny 100kb smaller than the rwp.......

After reading your post again, am I correct in thinking that you tried to attach the rar file to a post?
If so, post attachments can be no larger than 256 KB.

What size is the rar file?

Well, it's a whole lot smaller now that I removed the textures but it's still too large :/

If all you changed were the values in the BIN file then you can simply provide that and the instructions on how to clone over the default folder.

It's different, it's like a whole new locomotive with the same textures so you don't need to owerwrite anything...

That's not my point. If you are concerned about file size and the only files you modified are the BIN files, then that's all you really need to add to the download,
