Hey guys just to let you know that Rich Carter and I have been working on fixing a host of semi-critical issues on the Soo-line so it runs better and to assist you scenario writers in being able to author more advanced scenarios.

things fixed in V4:

Speed limits
Crossings to stop traffic
More Route Markers
Added more signals to yards so scenarios will run with more AI possibilities
Will be fixing a few davenport buildings so that loading times will speed up for those with lower end systems.
Minor scenery additions and replacements.
Government bridge retexuring(hopefully)
ALCOA retexturing(hopefully)

5 scenarios will be released with this update

Seattle Subdivision progress:

Still working feverishly to finish the industrial areas.
North end with argo yard: 85% complete
Seattle city: 90% complete skyline will be NIGHT LIT
Industrial park east: 90% complete

Boeing field/ king county: 85% complete
Tukwila: 50% complete
Kent: 10% complete

I will upload picks of tukwila yard, tukwila Amtrak station and industrial sectors on my blog soon, this town will mark the end of Phase 1 with complete scenery, although kent Amtrak station(5 miles south) will be open to use. The scenery in kent will not be complete until next release. this route will be using night lighting on buildings this time :)

Release dates for both are unknown at this point but now that I have a better idea of whats going on I figure I'd let you know about it! probably soo in Sept and seattle in October or November.

I just want to say thank you all for your donations to charity and investing in my projects I hope you have enjoyed and will enjoy my future work as well.

regards,

Ian

Good news. I know the folks over at OVS are wanting to add your route to the virtual railroad. Just need the signalling worked out to start writing scenarios.
