Being based in the UK, I'm not very familiar with US railroading. Have just installed the stunning SOO Line, but would be grateful if someone could give me an idea of what stock would use this line, including engines, wagons etc.. Are there any scenarios available ?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Since it's "set " in the present era. Union Pacific, Iowa Interstate, Canadian Pacific, Canadian National, IC&E (Iowa, Dakota, and Eastern), and DM&E (Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern) will all be appropriate for the route. With BNSF, CSX, and NS seen on run-though power. Passenger Op's would be Amtrak.

The trains would be made up of manifest (mixed freight [boxcars, flatcars, gondola's, etc]), unit coal trains, unit grain trains, and unit Ethanol (tank) trains. With locals running around as-well.

That's if you want to be prototypical. But since this Railworks you can run anything you want and have some fun. *!greengrin!*

They haul just about everything. Still plenty of SOO, GTW, IC, ICE and other locos running around. I live near there and the CN is not rushing into repainting anything. I even saw a EJ&E GP38 last month. Grain and ethanol would be biggies in their consists.
