Google Earth to Decals in 2026

Hello everyone, HAPPY New Year 2026! As I just mentioned in the message, it can be obtained images from Google Earth and convert them into Decals for Train Simulator Classic 2024. I want to create a route, but I can't because transferring an image from Google Earth to Train Simulator Classic is complicated. I don't use Google Maps because I don't have a credit card; the free version also requires one. That's an image I took to start from that area. I would like to create Fostoria but I don't have a way to apply the decals.

Have you tried MapTiler? https://rail-sim.de/forum/filebase/entry/8743-maptiler/
Suggest using these instructions, as this worked for me. I saw a few comments saying the supplied instructions didn't.

Thank you so much! I can't believe it worked! I took a screenshot of the place, but it's blurry. Is it normal for it to look like that, or can it be changed?

Check the settings, change to satellite if necessary. Also, after the installation, there's no need to go to the node; just go to start (step 2).

It's interesting, but I'll stick to Goggle Earth Kml files converted with RW Tools. Honestly there is no "one way" to go about it. Comes down with what the user prefers and is comforable with.
