Is Railworks coming to the Mac anytime soon. It would seem that Trainz Simulator ( http://www.trainzportal.com ) has made it ... when is RW2 coming to the mighty apple?

Hopefully no time soon, there is still so much work for them to do on the Windows version that I hope they are not wasting their time pandering to a minority operating system :-)

Guess they'll drop the PC version sometime soon then and move to console and mobile where there's real money to be made ....

LoL

So we'd better start thinking about how the formulaic 3rd-person shooter version of RW for the x360 is going to turn out? :) mobile is just pointless hype for now though until there's a radical shift in interface, and that's a while away. Right about then I suspect that might be the *only* market.

I hope they don't abandon the PC market. I prefer to drive my trains on my PC. *nods*

It's not a question of abandonment , it's a question of profit >> maximizing returns on existing content . I would really like to know how well this sold >> http://store.steampowered.com/app/65260 ... 4_234__103 << It's totally self contained and it's a perfect candidate for a port .. a marketing exercise maybe ? I think this would make a reasonable return on investment if ported . Producing content for mobile or console is no different than for a windows based PC , everything starts in a 3D package .

Works just fine on the Mac as is (via Parallels ) - no need to distract them for now. !*brav*!
