Strange goings on

Can anyone explain to me how some details on a locomotive changes when you put it into a different route or scenario? I don't understand the connection that would cause this.

Can you elaborate a bit? What details change?

Hi Buzz, if you are talking about the numbers on the side of your SOO F7, then it may have to do with lighting. They took on a reflective property which sounded like an alpha layer issue to me.

It was the rear coupling on the "c" unit, the nc version. On one route the coupler was visible and when I went to another the passenger pilot showed up which is the one with no coupler showing until you hook up to something.

If you have an ATI graphics card, turn-off the Adaptive Anti Aliasing from your graphics-card control panel, as having that option on has been known to cause some graphical glitches with some routes, scenarios and trainsets.

Sounds like you may not have enough developer/package boxes checked in the scenario, and a child isn't loading somewhere - that will shuffle all the others around.

Interesting comment about the graphics card since I just went to the Catalyst Control Center and it won't open. Any suggestions? Says it has a error and needs to close.

Sounds like something is messed up with your graphic drivers.
In that case, you might consider un-installing your graphic-drivers then re-install.
