I would like to do some 1960's scenarios for the Peninsula Corridor route. Does anyone have suggestions for models for the bi-level or commuter coaches?

Do you have Barnez The Race Track. Those bi-levels are pretty nice. I have some CNW smooth sided cars I got from (GERUNIMO625) Jerry Hilinksky (not sure of spelling) I can share. I don't know if he ever published them but they are from Race Track models.

I’d like a copy of those C&NW bi-levels. They look nice!

Good Day:
Let Me first say I am glad to see the sudden interest in CNW Bi-Level Equipment. About a year and half ago I asked about Bi-Level Coaches when I was painting up the HIS Santa Fe F7's & DTM F3's in the OEM Black / Green Scheme. Buzz sent some pictures of the ones you see in the previous posts. He graciously sent me the files. To me the cars looked kind of "Dead" looking so I went and re-did the textures, lining-up lines etc., also making it look like window textures, and adding people to the coaches. ( Keep in mind these are "Low Poly" Cars ) But they do have interior views.
Now I will try to explain why I never put them out for download. Some may know I worked for a large Airline, and Years ago I was big in Flightsim. In fact I used to help, out our Pilot training group, by painting Models of our Aircraft, for them to take shots out FS2004 and use them in teaching presentations. When our Airline was getting ready to celebrate our 75th Anniversary, I was asked to do a DC3 in it's original scheme. When it was done, I put it on Flight Sim.Com. Well low and behold a week or so later I was getting e-mails & phone calls from a lawyer saying I stole some one images and taking credit for them. The funny thing was all the images I worked off of were provided to me by our Company Historian. Now the Company stood behind me and it all went away. Needless to say, since then I have always been hesitant to release my work. I knew nothing of where the Bi-Level Files came from, so to avoid problems, I kept them for myself.

Below You will see Pictures of the CNW Bi-Levels I did:

Now I realize many like dirty / weathered equipment. That is not me. Plus You now don't have to look around for the correct motive power. FYI: That GP9 With Boiler & Tanks I did was used often in commuter service. I am going to let Buzz make the call about getting these up loaded if he wishes. If so I am going to ask for help, because I struggle getting them ready for download, and don't want to overload Chacal. I also hope I am not causing any trouble, and You understand my caution in putting my work out there. I am not trying to be selfish. Thank You for taking the the time to read this.... Au contraire! Fine work should not be lost and it should be archived for any future that time may hold. Your story relating a shady lawyer is typical of someone seeing making a quick buck from a well established airline !*not-ok*! Here we are a group with talent and perhaps less richness. Let an unscrupulous lawyer try it and I assure you that it would not go far as he would be overrun by 100 grain hopper cars consist. !*roll-laugh*! Please do enlighten us by sharing this excellent work.

Hi Harry,

Wayne built a four-axle commuter coach a few years ago. It's probably a slightly older design than the SP coach in your post, but I'd say it fits better than any of the six-axle heavyweights we have in the sim.

Wayne's coach is included in the WVN route ("B&O Kingwood Branch").

Cheers,
Michael
