Do I need the TS Classic 2024 update?

I want to get the newest edition of TS2024 classic because of some bug issues that may have been fixed from previous versions.
Each year I get the update but was wondering if I need to this year.
It seems the addon are either routes or loco's that I already have. I assume that there may be other items that I may get, but don't see what it is.
I also want any code fixes that they have done to fixe previous bugs.

Based on wha they offer in the regual or deluxe package is there something else I may miss. I do not want the subscription. that's for sure.

If I get the regular version it is cheaper than the deluxe version but won't get the following as I already have these routes
Train Simulator Classic 2024,
Train Simulator: DB BR 442 'Talent 2' EMU Add-On,
Train Simulator: LGV: Marseille - Avignon Route Add-On,
Train Simulator: Mittenwaldbahn: Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck Route Add-On,
Train Simulator: Northeast Corridor: Washington DC - Baltimore Route Add-On

If I get the deluxe version it says I wont get the following as I have these routes and loco's
Train Simulator Classic 2024,
Train Simulator: PRR GG1 Loco Add-On,
Train Simulator: DB BR 411 'ICE-T' EMU Add-On,
Train Simulator: DB BR 442 'Talent 2' EMU Add-On,
Train Simulator: LNER Peppercorn Class A2 'Blue Peter' Loco Add-On,
Train Simulator: LGV: Marseille - Avignon Route Add-On,
Train Simulator: Mittenwaldbahn: Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck Route Add-On,
Train Simulator: Northeast Corridor: Washington DC - Baltimore Route Add-On

I´m afraid that if you played TSC in these days from Steam, you got the core upgrade TSC2024, automatically.
Buying any TSC2024 will give you new routes and trains as described for their contents.

Look and see at startup if you have version v77.6b. If you do you have 2024.

So based on what I won't get cause I already own the routes, there isn't an added reason to get it.
It seems I won't get any new routes or loco's.

Is there a full list of what is added, all I see is the area that 2024 has, but not specific routes.

You already have it. It automatically updated to TSC2024. It should show v77.6b on the loading screen. The purpose of this discussion was if you did NOT have any of the included routes it would be cheaper to take advantage of the bundle deal rather than purchasing the route separately.

Sometimes buying one of these bundle deals from some of these other sources can be a bargain because one of the packaged routes may be cheaper than even purchasing it on sale through Steam. Don't worry about the version of the game is older than the current version e.g Train Simulator 2018, it will only install the routes and not install an older version of the game.

As people have said if you play online with Steam you automatically get TSC updated to TSC2024 for free. If you go into Steam and in the search box on the Store Page type in Train Simulator Classic 2024 it should come up saying Train Simulator Classic 2024 is already in your library.
