From across the Pond - a new build of one of the original RS routes

For anyone who has an interest in UK routes and also with a history of the sim from the original release of Rail Simulator. A new build (i.e. from the ground up - not an enhancement) of one of KUJU's original routes, the Somerset and Dorset route from Bath.

I still remember getting really excited about this Kuju route released with Rail Simulator...and my unending disappointment about how it looked. The reason for my excitement was (and now is again) because I live only 4 miles outside Bath and about a mile from Midford Station, just off the old Camerton line that passed under Midford Viaduct and was used for the filming of The Titfield Thunderbolt*.

Sad to say I arrived here far too late to see either line working...but this does not look like it will disappoint :D .

On an aside, all of Golden Age's routes and assets are worth a good look - top quality.

Reimagining of Midford goods (freight) yard and the line just south of the station and viaduct - reimagining based on the Hornby Dublo 1950s and 1960s model train system. All engines, rolling stock and motor vehicles were available in model form (and still are through eBay :D )
