How Does The Mi Jack Crane Work?

How the heck does this thing work? !*don-know!* I know it was made for containers but will it also load/unload trailers? For the life of me I can't load or unload a container car or a TOFC van....... **!!bang!!**

I can't find any docs or a manual for it either. If there was one I don't have it.

Thanks

Hi,

I've taken a look at my old IIR route which has several crane transfer points and I think his how it might work:

-- The crane unloads whatever is on an already loaded car (as defined in its cargo section)

-- The crane seems to load whatever is listed in the crane's own blueprint. So if you want it to load trailers, I'm thinking you'd probably need to add them to the crane's blueprint. But this is all stuff from the times when the game was still officially called RailWorks or even Rail Simulator, so my memory is very foggy about this and I might be completely wrong.

Cheers,
Michael

It only works when an active locomotive is attached to the train/car being unloaded/loaded. Sorry if this is teaching egg sucking but........

I got a engine coupled to the cars. (A TOFC car and a double stack car). I think Michael is along the line of being in the ballpark on how it works. My thinking for what I want to do will be using RW tools to rework the blueprint.
