Just curious, but what happened to the Searchlight Simulations forum under Professional Modelers & Developers? Did it move into another section? Thanks!

The owner did not want it here any more. He did not like that we have a new Forum Admin. He is to help Buzz with the forum.

Unusual. Having an extra set of hands here should be an asset. Is SS not going to participate?

Well, sorry to hear that. Their board was my source for all things Searchlight Sim. But I guess avoiding personality conflicts is more important to them than keeping their customer base informed.

I do agree, this forum has always given support to all their projects.

This may be rude but Anthony is acting like a child. I have no idea why we accommodated him. The thread was about the products not the people. It escapes me.

Calling everybody a child who disagrees with you (which I've seen you do numerous times) won't solve anything.

Do you mean that Discord where maybe a couple dozen people keep saying the same things over and over again? !!det!!

If personal animosity towards an RWA forum mod makes a dev pack up and leave, then I say good riddance. Though I feel sorry for the users and customers who came here maybe looking for help and support, for which RWA always has been -- and will hopefully always remain -- the best place in train-sim-land. A of course also just a great place to hang out and chat about trains.

Cheers,
Michael

We have a support email and Facebook Business inbox for help and support, and have always been more than happy to help there.

We also have an email based newsletter system and various socials for other communications.

I chose not to air our reasons for leaving publicly, but since Bob let the cat out of the bag, I guess it's out there and I'll leave it at that.

I'll go on the assumption my recent addition as a moderator is likely the cause of this "issue."

For the record, in my time here at RWA as a member (and I joined eight years ago) I have, to my recollection, never made a single negative post related to a SS product, nor have I edited any such post made by other members. Nor have I made negative remarks about such products on any other social media platform.

Insulting me won't accomplish much either. I don't recall ever calling anyone childish before and you failed to address the subject of my post which is this should be about the products not the people.
