I don't think the person that made it ever released it.

I to have looked and looked and can't find it anywhere.

P.S, if I could get my 3D Crafter to actually work again I would populate Railworks with items and later 19th century American steamers, starting with releasing my 1875 Baldwin Ten Wheeler.

Did I note that route is by SAD (Siegfried?)? If so, NO doubt it will be amazing! Did anyone besides me notice the butterflies?

Yes, I did and I wondered if this was inserted after capturing the scenery, but it seems to be in the game. !*brav*!
The best are the shivering effects in the video. It makes it look so realistic. I wonder how you can do this?

He does as well as me *!!wink!!* The video is from the upcoming addon of "Altenburg - Wildau" - of which the first version is available as freeware on Rail-Sim.de - it was due to release first end of May, now the date is on mid July and maybe it will be postponed again. Also we are not 100% sure what will all be included with the route and which versions of the route. SAD has built more than one as it seems, set in different time periods one of which is represented in the video. At the moment it's just waiting and drinking lots of tea till it finally arrives.

But I guess you are asking for the "digger on railwheels" (sorry railroad english is not my expertise *!lol!* ) he has talked about it in his blog in February: http://sad-railworks.blogspot.com/2011/ ... racks.html - not sure where the project is now, but with his outstanding quality of his route and assets we can hope for the best. I'll send him a message to look in this thread, maybe he is willing to tell more about it.

Yes, I'm from Bavaria which is the most beautiful *!!wink!!* State of Germany.
The developer SAD is from the Neather... hrrmf... I mean Netherlands (I should play less Minecraft *!greengrin!* ), but he speaks German and this route is set in Germany.

Just to repeat.... the link to SAD's website: http://sad-railworks.blogspot.com/

The butterflies are something he has made I'm sure. He is a prolific and skilled asset artist; few have turned out as many addon assets for RW as Siegfried has! I would never have attempted the Alleghany without his stuff; there would be no weeds, flowers, shrubs, hedges, etc....

It will be like Christmas to see what he includes in the new route!

As I said above: not out yet, details are available in the Aerosoft shop (only in german, use translator). Release date is 21st July currently. They also have a US shop, but there I don't see a pre-release section there.

And I got a reply from SAD:

Thanks for asking,
The digger is not relaesed yet, but it will be freeware again. It will not be in the upcoming payware version of my new route. The shown scene's on the video's is just a module, and not a real route. It was just a sort of candy in between new projects. The objects shown are in my next route. If there is demand I will release the digger. It is ment for special use in scenario's. It has own sounds and cab, but the cab is not detailed like in real trains. I choosed this rail vehicle to learn about the Train blueprint, moddeling and physics. In my upcoming route I hope to add a new train.

So. three things are there:
-Altenburg-Wildau version 1, freewareroute at rail-sim.de
-Im Koblitzer Bergland. (Altenburg-Wildau expanded in length (new +/- 30 km) and resignalled), Payware Aerosoft. (they also are launching a US shop))
-Addon 3 , A new freeware route which is in early state of development. The digger is in this folder.

Hopefully you have enough information, If there is demand for the digger, please let me know, I could make a seperate packages, because it is ready)

Good luck on the other side of the pond!
Greetz SAD
