Sad for me to tell the community that Phil Moberg passed way. Long time MSTS and here on the forum. One of the good guys and way too soon. R.I.P. and prayers for his family.

He was an erudite, had tremendous technical knowledge, and was a pleasure to read.

When he had something to say it was worth the read.

Didn't know the man, but knew of him and saw his forum entries.

Indeed, We will miss Phil ...

I loved his postings for its educational and historical context. I would qualify Phil as a gentleman from New England, yet I only knew through our common web site. It would have been a privilege to share, in person, his life time knowledge and wisdom.

My sympathy to his wife and family.

It would be an interesting ''Railworks America'' project to assemble and archive the most notable articles and contributions from our colleague who have passed on, yet left a worthwhile gift. I'm opened to share this idea further...

I've been less active, but still around.

A bit more over at Elvas Tower showing the depth of Phil's involvement more widely with railroad history and train simulators - Phil was a constant presence throughout my long MSTS years. He is missed.
