Penn Steam Problem

Unread postby WVVR2021 » Wed Jun 23, 2021 8:10 pm

While I'm not new to 3d modeling, or train simulators, I am new TS2021 and I'm not sure 100% sure of the process to get thing to work. I had downloaded Pennsylvania Steam Route and found a problem. It would seem its missing a ground texture.

According to TS Tools (Which I'm not sure if I'm even using that right) there are no missing items for this route. The ground texture seems to be the only missing item that I'm aware of. Does anybody know where that texture is supposed to be located at?

Interesting, I have those files installed so it must be from something else.

Something new that I discovered. In TS Tools, I see the list of all the usernames and products used on the Penn Steam map. I found that the bottom two on the list I can not locate in my TS2021 asset files. Does anybody know what those files contain? Or where they can be found?

European Loco & Asset Pack and the old RSDL Foliage Pack, which is no longer available. I think you can still get it with some of the older routes like the Isle of Wight, although I'm not totally sure on that. EU assets you can get with a bunch of older routes, there's a full list on DTG's Kayako helpdesk. Many of the routes it comes with will have just gone on sale, so now is probably the best time to get them at a deep discount.

Odd, The European Loco and Asset Pack I always thought I had. I guess I don't. I guess not everybody can run this route.

If you have something like Cajon Pass, that usually solves the problem.

I guess it's ok because I really wanted the route for some older (era) content for a project that I may be starting. However I was hoping to run the route because any route involving PA interests me. I was also hoping for some route building tips by looking how this route was put together.
