A 567 series EMD sounds just the same as any other EMD that is normally aspirated. Even with turbocharging they sound the same as any other turbo'd EMD. The only real way to change the sound is to add or subtract cylinders (ie. V6,V8, V12, V16, V20).

Yeah I hope those are just temporary "placeholder" sounds for the video. This is what a GP9 should sound like:

I was wondering about this to. I will be pleasured to work on one once it comes out if it isn't changed. I will look into a way to make the engine sound just like the one in the CN GP7 video listed above.
They exist everywhere. You may not see them, but they're there. Awww yeeeaaaahhhh, 20% Cooler! /)

Here's a nice example of some GP9 sound.... http://youtu.be/K1auERUXODs

So was the GP9 release delayed? I thought it was scheduled for yesterday.

Are you guys ever happy? All you seem to do is complain about everything RS do. How about looking at the positive for once instead of just focussing on the negatives?

To me, I'm not a rivetcounter, The sounds are just fine, Engine and horn, bell, it's all good I'm lovin this model. No, it's not a "high baller" a little more that 1800 HP, It's basically a yard switcher in this day and age of 4,000 HP or more line engines. Still. Derek did an awesome job. Yeah, gonna be a few glitches. It happens with every single game, not just this one. Still, this GP9 is an amazing ad on. I'm lovin it and lots more screen shots to come!

I don't see their comments as complaining. Just voicing a thought.
