Thanks for the heads-up micael, took it on to the Steam forums. It was asked there if the site is legit and how it will work, if someone here is asking that himself: yes it is legit (why would RSC announce that on their official site if it wasn't?) and you will get a key via email which you need to enter in Steam.

Quick question: SW1500 or SD70Ace? Only can afford one of them, but interested in both... Help!

SD70Ace is a great addon for Mainline operations. But only two liveries: UP and DRGW Heritage (additional repaints are here in the library, if the SD70 Volume 2 would be also in the offer I would choose that one, more liveries).
EDIT: Not Volume 2!!!!

SW1500 is also great, especially the sounds (from Oovee). Obviously it's good for switching.
This pack features a lot more liveries. The best, of course, Western Pacific. *!greengrin!*
For this pack there are also a lot of repaints available here on RWA and on trainsim a special Portland Terminal repaint.

As I have both addons, I think I'll buy Edinburgh -Glasgow or better Doncaster Works? - I don't know. Please help.

It looks like this offer is for SD70 Volume 2 by looking at the product on the website, not Volume 1. Am I correct?

No, unfortunately not. It displays the NS SD70, but you can only buy Volume 1. !**duh*!!
I bought the E-G route now. An offer I couldn't refuse.

Although I am too late on this, but I think you made the right choice. Doncaster is a nice detailed scenery and the handful of scenarios for it are really nice, but it is limited to just the work area and all you can do is to push some wagons from one end to the other. There is nothing really wrong about it, don't get me wrong, and for this reduced price it is worth it, but with EG route you will have lot more time to spend and possibilities for scenarios.

And yes the SD70 pack there is confusing, in the text below it says Volume 2 and based on the contents it is that one, but on Steam SD70ACe is the name of volume one... Unfortunately I found another bill to pay so it is either one RW addon or one day more to eat this month, guess what I will choose *!sad!*

Not so!

The SD70 is actually it is only volume 1- I found out the hard way:

Just downloaded and got the first pack with the Rio Grande- NOT what I wanted... The add copy on the download page shows Norfolk Southern. I purchased it base on the fact it would be the second pack. Buyer beware...

Green Man Gaming - !*not-ok*!

I don't think this site is very reputable or one that I want to be dealing with for my future gaming needs. There is the question about the misleading SD70 package, but also, i've set up my registration for the site, but have yet receive an e-mail to confirm the registration. I can log in with my user name and password, but I can't purchase anything - what kind of crap is this? Most sites that register like this have an automated confirmation that works whether the folks are in the office or not. If I have to wait until Monday for someone to unlock the brick and mortar front door, i'm simply going to cancel my registration, have my account removed, and stick with Steam for my future DLC purchases. I wasn't to sure about posting my name and info on yet ANOTHER internet site anyway.
