Where can I get the Chinese trains?

Unread postby steve_the_slim » Sun May 15, 2011 7:21 pm

The place where most of the Chinese stuff used to be has gone down, and the only place I could find anything was UKTS, which, given the absurd speed limitations, isn't really practical. Does anybody know if the Chinese stuff is available anywhere else?

I would highly recommend paying the few $$ for the upgraded account at UKTS. I don't visit their Forums at all, but the wealth of "stuff" that they have for download is well worth the price. And with the upgraded account, you don't have to wait in line for downloads. !!*ok*!!

I'll also echo what arizonachris had to say above. The price is reasonable, the download speed is tons better than waiting in line and it's good for six months. It's also nice to have when your searching for those elusive bits n' pieces that you sometimes need for a downloaded route. Well worth the money!

It's not that I don't think it would be worth the money. There's just something about having to pay to access free software that rubs me the wrong way.

Understood. Think of it as a donation then, to help maintain the website, much like we do here. It costs a lot to host a site like these, and to host the files. It's up to you, of course. ;)

They are also available on the dutch site treinpunt.nl (requires free registration)

Follow this pattern: TreinPunt.NL » Downloads » Railworks 2 Train Simulator (RW) » Rollend Materieel
