^ You asked this in another thread.

Browse to Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\Default\Class43\

You will see "Class43_static.bin" sitting there

Make a copy, rename it whatever you want and place it in the engine folder of the locomotive you want to make static.

Open RW_Tools and edit it.. Change the name (from static HST ... to whatever engine you want) and the path and name of the geometry file to point to.

Save.. Clear Cache, and it will be in your scenery list now (if it's DLC make sure you have the tick box in the route editor ticked pertaining to that DLC)

I take a more direct (and permanent) approach to this. Using the Windows Explorer file manager, drill down to the Assets folder and find the .bin file you want to open. RIGHT-click on that file and from the context menu choose "Open with...". If a second menu opens, choose "Select default program". In the dialog that opens it will most likely not list RWTools as a choice... click "Browse", then browse to your RW_Tools.exe file and select it.
Back in the dialog box, before you click "OK" decide if you want to make this file association permanent; if not, UNcheck the "Always use this program to open this file type" checkbox. I make mine permanent since I never edit any other .bin files than those in RW. After you click "OK", that file you selected will open in RWTools ready to edit.
If you make the association permanent, then in the future you can simply drill down to any .bin file you wish to edit, click it, and it opens in RWTools. I also do this to my GeoPcDx and TgPcDx files.
