FEF-3 smoke deflector and mars light removal?

I've seen a few picture's of the smokebox fef-3 with it's "elephant ears" and mars light removed from the locomotive and i was wondering if that was a user made mod or if it's a feature of the model?

It's a feature of the model. It depends on the number you set for the loco in the scenario. The details can be found in the manual.

In that case, where can i find manual? Cause i'm not having any luck finding it my self.

It is in your Steam/SteamApps/Common/Railworks/Manuals/En/UP FEF-3 Steam Locomotive Addon Manual.

OR you can go to the store page for it and the manual is there 2 on the right hand side.
