Terrain Editing

Unread postby emdsd90mac » Fri Apr 29, 2011 11:18 pm

Hi all. I have played around with the some of the brush settings and cut angles but can seem to figure out if there is a way to make nice 90 degree cuts in the terrain. Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible in RW2?

It would never be a perfect 90 degrees because the width of one tile is used to make the transition from the low point to high point. The best example of what is possible is the "edge" that you get if you raise a portion of the terrain up about 1000 meters or more. I've never tried doing that on purpose. I would have to use a solid ground texture on it, like dark green grass... nothing with a pattern in it.
