i just tryed going to the gtrax site but it seems to be gone? i get a message saying welcome to you new site called gtrax, very odd?
here is what it says:

Welcome to gtraxsims.com
Your account has been created.
You can access your Web site right away using d65756.u32.servmatix.com. Over the next few days, DNS servers all across the Internet will update themselves with your new site name. Once that happens, you will be able to access your site at its permanent address, gtraxsims.com.

what has happened?

It looks to me like Rick moved to a new hosting account. When that happens the nameservers need to update the millions of servers throughout the world. That propagation can take up to 72 hours.
Once the propagation is complete, the web site will be back on-line.

BTW! I moved this thread to the General Discussion forum since it isn't about problems with RW itself.

It's working for you but that doesn't mean it's working for everyone. It just means that the servers you go through to get from your computer to the server that his site is on have all been updated with the new nameservers.

I still can't access his site without using this link: d65756.u32.servmatix.com.

I'm also getting some weird "your account has been created" dialog box, asking for name and password as well. Does look like Rick has moved his server, or they could be doing maintenance, since the IP addy is the same.

"Your account has been created" is generally a sign of a new hosting account.

I didn't do anything. I have two web sites with the same host, including gtraxsims, and neither work. I opened a support ticket and hopefully they'll get it fixed -- SOON!

Well that sucks Rick. I hope you get things straightened out soon.

Now gtraxsims doesn't work at all.
