Was rolling over a 1800 lb stone and it kept going and pulled my right hand through a roller. My thumb is black, my forefinger is swelling and my middle finger is bleeding at the lower knuckle. Ripped about 1/2 inch of skin off. It hurt so bad I almost blacked out. Started getting dizzy, then I started sweating and my face got pale white. My boss walked 2 minutes after it happened and the first thing out of his mouth is why are you all pale white? He wanted me to do some cad but I can't type or use the mouse with out it hurting even more.

I asked Chacal to do some of the uploads and I believe he will help me out so the place will keep going until I heal.

Just when I thought I was indestructible ;)

See a doctor.... and please get better!

What kind of a boss do you have??? Has he ever heard of Safety at work; if not the role of a first respondant. Sorry for incompetent behavior and think of your recovery for future use of hand and not for an A__HOLE atitude. Get well and take the time to do it properly

Please go to a doctor or ER as soon as possible Injuries like that can have long-lasting consequences if they aren't treated properly right away.

Cool your hand and fingers and go to a hospital asap. Health first, everything else can be managed later or by others. Get well soon.

Bob told me nothing was broken. I guess he did see a doctor.

I hate to hear that, I couldn't even image that. You should be able to get workers' compensation.

Don't worry about the uploads, you just get better, and for a boss to say "why are you pale white" WELL LOOK AT IT!! Hope you recover well and just glad it wasn't way worse.

This is why you always wear pants at work.

I once flattened my 3 fingers on my right hand from the front guards of a 10 ft steel sheet shear in my younger days. Wrapped them in duct tape and finished my shift. later that day I was in excruciating pain.
I hope you feel better sooner than later.

My thumb is throbbing. Took 2 ibuprophen tabs 200 MG. Middle finger stopped bleeding. Gonna have a scab right on the knuckle. Thats going to be a PITA. I always wear pants at work To top it all off I got extremely bad hay fever. I am so clogged up it is sickening. Worst year I had with all the pollen.

Is that you done working then? Honestly sounds like a good case to me. I hope well for your health and recovery, Bob.

Take the time you need to heal. Hands and fingers, particularly, need careful attention and plenty of slack. I know this from experience.
