Don't know what "messed up" is but it looks OK to me.

By messed up he means out-of-shape which it obviously still is.

I don't know what you are talking about since if you look straight down it it is straight.

Take a look behind the cab. The transition in height on the handrail is messed up. This was a pretty poor model by DTG; no traction motor detail on the trucks among other things.

That is close to max rivet counting. It's sure easier to not see stuff like that until it's pointed out to me. !*roll-laugh*! !*roll-laugh*!

Rivet counting depends on how good the person can see.

It actually is a very bad model. You can even see through the parts of the model if you look (((REAL))) hard enough.

for me i could try get past that hand rail part and accept it like i do on amtrak dash 8-32w. and here where my rivet counting go far eg: headlamp lol once again from screen shots. anyway i was just wondering so i accept it as is.

It sticks out like a sore thumb if you have ever seen the prototype. I guess pointing out major issues with a model is just rivet counting though.

Sometimes if you don’t count the rivets you find that there aren’t enough to hold it together.

Welds aren't quite as obvious to spot and tend to do a better job these days. !*roll-laugh*!

Sure the handrail is a little cringe worthy but that alone is not enough to stop me from buying it. I just don't find MWPB in general particularly interesting to me.

I agree. If we all wait for perfection we will never do anything. It doesn’t hurt to ask for it though.

That's so true I'm tempted to add that to my sayings below my signature. It goes well with Zig's comment.
